Adelaide - 20 Weeks
Last Thursday, Danialle and I spent 2 hours in an ultrasound suite watching the tech measure every inch of her. Watching the little critter move (she was a mover) caused me to quietly pick up my jaw from the floor. With my inner voice, I repeated reminded myself that this was really happening. That I wasn’t watching moving images of someone else’s child. This is going to be MY child. So surreal.
The tech burned us a DVD of images and a short video clip. Yay!

Danialle and I in an elevator on our way to the doctor

Danialle feels the little critter moving about in the womb.

Great artwork is on display throughout the entire office.

Danialle introduces herself to the ultrasound robot. Almost time!

High frequency waveforms tickle the baby to reveal its shape.

There she is!

In a last attempt to move the baby into a better position for viewing its heart.

Quick portrait of us during a 5 minute break - waiting for the sugar to kick in.

Reflecting on the amazing news given to us. Awaiting to see the doctor.

Glucose!

Back in the elevater, heading home. What a day. We're having a daughter!
